Fort Jackson holds community tour | Events
Brig. Gen. Bryan Roberts is inviting the public to a special, up-close tour of Fort Jackson and its soldiers in training, Feb. 21.
Roberts, the commanding general, will host a six-hour "Come See Your Army" tour to give local citizens an opportunity to see how Soldiers train and provide insight into the day to day operations. During the tour, visitors will attend a Basic Combat Training graduation, see Soldiers train, learn to shoot the M16A2 simulator, eat in an Army dining facility and get answers to questions about Basic Combat Training, Fort Jackson, and the Army.
The next tour is Feb. 21, at 8:45 a.m.
